Synopsis

The mentality and operational priorities of the FBI have remained constant despite the supposed "reforms" it underwent during the late 1970s. In light of the Homeland Security Act, a measure which formally sanctions many of the worst abuses in which the Bureau engaged a generation ago, every activist in the country should become intimately acquainted with the experiences of the Black Panther Party and the American Indian Movement. Biography

Ward Churchill (Keetowah Cherokee) has achieved an unparalleled reputation as a scholar-activist and analyst of indigenous issues. A Professor of American Indian Studies at the University of Colorado, Boulder and a leading member of AIM, Churchill is the author of numerous books, including From a Native Son, and, with Jim Vander Wall, Agents of Repression, and COINTELPRO Papers.
