Good technically, not so good as a learning toolby jmontalvo

The book is well organized, very extensive and very well edited. If you are interested in the technical aspects of Photoshop, the book covers almost all the subjects of this software in good depth. Simply put, Evening writes the best of the comprehensive Photoshop books for photographers. Many great tips and tricks withing this text. Others may do individual topics in much more depth but Evening's work is overall much more useful. His recent book with Jeff Schewe, CS4 for Photographers, The Ultimate Workshop is also a great buy for those who wish to take their knowledge to a new level.
