Beginning users will be frustrated with this text. It often forgets to tell you the "little things" that would make the lessons so much easier to complete... like where exactly to find the icons your looking for. When a step is left out, you'll spend hours trying to figure it out. Unfortunately, my college instructor is using this as the text in an Intro to Adobe class. It is not the...

I am very new to Photoshop, and had purchased another book before this one to try and learn this program. This one was so much easier for me to understand, having the disk with the photos to work with along side the lessons in the book made all the difference in the world. I would recommend this book to anyone trying to figure out this very complex program :-)
