Knowing nothing about Illustrator, I was a bit apprehensive having to approach Illustrator for the first time. The lessons are broken up in easy small pieces and the instructios are very paced and accurate.

As a Graphic Design student I found this textbook hard to use. The book is made up of assignments. Unless you are following the assignments the information presented is hard to apply elsewhere. It's not a reference book!
