January 16, 2009: Adobe Illustrator CS3 Classroom in a Book is probably the most useful tool a student or beginner could ever hope to have. It is very well organized. Each chapter is a new lesson that becomes interactive once you put in the CD that comes with it containing all lesson files. The projects range from simply learning all of the tools that Illustator has to offer, to working in 3-D. It covers all the basics and few more advanced functions, everything a beginner needs. What about a more professional person? Don't even eye it. Chances are, you already know everything in this book. I know that I mostly came out of it with nothing new (I just kind of collect books about these sorts of things). All in all, if you are a beginner this book will very merrily lead you on your way. For a professional, look elsewhere.
