      Synopsis

Students preparing for the Advanced Placement U.S. History exam will welcome this set of flash cards, which offers them the flexibility to study history in ways not available from textbooks and study guides. 500 cards encompass the entire AP course, reviewing all key topics. Cards are numbered and labeled so that students can arrange them within a chronological time frame or according to any of seven categories. The cards run chronologically from the Colonial era of the early 1600s to the present day. The seven categories are: Arts and Sciences, Domestic Policies, Presidential Matters, Wars and Foreign Relations, Economy and Business, Legal Issues, and Society and Culture. Questions and answers on flash cards cover every significant aspect of U.S. history from Abolitionism and Articles of Confederation to the Yalta Conference and Zachary Taylor. Here is an efficient and productive way to brush up on facts for the Advanced Placement exam, and an ideal supplement to classroom textbooks.

November 15, 2009: I think that these cards were ok but when i bought them i hought there were going to match the textbook i had but i found that the majority of the words that i have had to know have come from www.corse-notes.oeg no these cards. They are useful but if you are buying them for unit exams in your AP class they are not that good.

January 11, 2009: Last year, I used the World History Flash cards and they helped me get a 4 on the exam. I bought them super close to the exam but I'm sure that if I got them earlier I would have gotten a 5. I got these cards today and they really do help me remember everything my teacher doesn't get to cover or explain completely. They are amazing for the multiple choice section. I used them with the Barron's review book and it was a great help. I am strong writer so I really didn't need to worry as much for that section. However, If you really study, using these cards, you'll have enough information to write a great essay.

All you need is time and dedication.
