January 14, 2004: This is an excellent book to learn about how the evolution of Graphic Design has evolved in the 20th century. I was fortunate to have taken a class with this man, Professor Phil Meggs at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and have it taught to me in person. I recommend anyone that has interest in the Communication Arts as well as Design to get this book. Meggs really gives great insite on everything.
