Synopsis

100% Job Search Success is part of the new 100% Success Series that is directed at the development of professional skills and characteristics that begin in college and extend through the job search and into the lifelong learning environment of the workplace. 100% Job Search Success provides practical information that students can apply to increase their effectiveness and success in the job search. Topics include professional presentation, interviewing, resume writing, networking, and learning from the job search experience. Activities and exercises included in the text are designed to provide opportunities for applied practice and experience, and support skill development. The text is intended to support students in extending and applying professional and self-management skills through acquiring their first job following graduation. The text can also be adapted to fulfill the needs of job search seminar classes focusing on the development of individual skills. Supplements include a Professional Portfolio to assist in the job search, as well as an online companion and web tutors.
