      Synopsis

Based on designer and illustrator Stefan Bucher's dailymonster.com website, 100 Days of Monsters showcases an array of original ink-blot monster creations accompanied by fun stories. The project began as a creative challenge to create a new monster every day for 100 days. Buchner posted each monster and mini-movie to the web and invited visitors to contribute stories about the monsters. This book/DVD set compiles all the illustrations, selected stories, and mini-movies of the creation of each monster to provide a fun and quirky celebration of illustration, design, creativity and collaboration.

March 27, 2008: The drawings are really great, and the little stories and comments just make the book. Older children and adults should really enjoy reading it. It makes a great coffee table book because you can pick it up and look and read about any of the 100 Monsters.
