Synopsis

Assistant district attorney Nina Frost prosecutes child molesters. She has seen too many criminals slip through the system. Her husband Caleb is a stonemason. No walls can guard them from the shattering discovery that their five-year-old son Nathaniel has been sexually abused. He's been left mute, unable to speak.

Washington Post Book World - Ann Hood

Perfect Match is Jodi Picoult's ninth novel. Like her others, it will have you turning its pages fast, then faster, and then faster still. Although one might wish for fewer plot twists and more character development, it is impossible not to be held spellbound by the way she forces us to think, hard, about right and wrong.

This book had me hooked from the beginning. The characters were so well developed, it was almost like I knew them. It really makes you think, about life and choices, what sacrifices a person may make for those that they love.

Also recommended: Nineteen Minutes, My Sister's Keeper

Customer Rating for this product is 4 out of 5 Worth my time.

Although of the four Picoult books I've read it wasn't as 'shocking' as a few of the others, I enjoyed it. The story was good, and I enjoyed learning about Patrick's background...I had met him in Nineteen Minutes. If your a Picoult fan recently, there are two I'd recommend before this one...but I wouldn't let this slip by, because it is worth your time!

Also recommended: Favorite: My Sister's Keeper, 2nd: Nineteen Minutes, 3rd: Perfect Match, and 4th: The Tenth Circle. 'I've only read these four!'
